Derek is a dedicated individual who has spent over a decade pastoring and helping men and women overcome addiction. He is driven by his passion to serve the kingdom of God through mentorship and discipleship. In addition to his ministry work, Derek has a notable background as a former NFL player for the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Commanders. He not only works with professional athletes but also finds joy in helping people from all walks of life.

Derek joined Tin Man because he wholeheartedly believes in its mission and wants to assist others in overcoming life’s hurts to emerge victorious. When he’s not assisting his Tin Man clients, Derek manages his financial retirement business, enjoys practicing jiujitsu, and spends quality time with his wife Danielle, with whom he has been happily married for 13 years, and their three beautiful children: daughters Dominica and Dallas, and their youngest son DJ. Derek’s dedication, experience, and genuine heart for helping others shape his purpose-driven journey.
